Claire Stronach is a choir director, workshop facilitator and singer from Somerset. She leads several choirs and also works with Somerset Health and Wellbeing Network facilitating creative singing and performance workshops for people experiencing trauma, or isolation.

 

Claire leads singing walks and performs with an octet of professional musicians and choir leaders in UK.

 

She originally trained as an actor in London and in New York and worked for 15 years as an actor, touring both nationally and internationally.

 

Singing and working as a choir director is finally where Claire feels she belongs. For her it is a joy to be able to create safe frames in which we can dare to play and explore our voices and creativity within a group. She believes that singing and creativity are powerful tools for growth and development.
